FAQ — Creed: God, Jesus & Holy Spirit

One of the hallmarks of Christian faith are creeds: Apostolic, Nicene, and Athanasian. Each creed is subdivided into three articles: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit or Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier.

Using the FAQ approach (Frequently Asked Questions) we will explore the history and use of creeds in the Christian faith. In addition we will have two sets of questions about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Pastor Wayne will have one set of questions and he will expect the participants to have their own questions, too.

FAQ will endeavor to help everyone have a better understanding of God the Creator, Jesus the Redeemer and the Holy Spirit Sanctifier. Sail into the harbor of QALC to nourish both body and soul. Every Wednesday evening we will be serving delicious dinners for the whole family. Dinner is followed by engaging conversations to help you grow your faith. Chef Storm returns in May!

* JAM is our acronym for Jibe At Midweek. Jibe is a sailing term used to change the course of a ship by shifting sails. We are encouraging households in the congregation to jibe, that is, change direction on Wednesday nights and sail into the harbor of QALC to nourish both body and soul. Every Wednesday evening we will be serving delicious dinners for the whole family. Dinner is followed by engaging conversations to help you grow your faith.
