In the spirit of Reformation Day - we share this video in which many of our NW Washington Synod ministers read a letter written and signed by many of our ELCA Bishops and shared on Oct. 8, 2025. (Our version is slightly altered for our context.) Thank you to those in the video for volunteering their voices in this powerful witness to our faith. The Synod thanks Rev. Julie Blum for her inspiration and leadership, and Rev. Jill Nichols Hicks and her son Alex Hicks for collecting, editing, and creating this video to share.
