Silent Sip and Read, March 17

March 17 at 4PM with book and libations

Need a book-break? Interested in a local poet? Mark Your Calendar for Tuesday, March 17!

We hope you can join us for March's Silent Sip & Read, featuring a reading by local poet Danielle Janess! Come enjoy a glass of wine (or a non-alcoholic drink of your choice) and peruse a book selection curated by Queen Anne Book Company (www.qabookco.com), while nestling into a quiet space to enjoy your favorite book. We are excited to hear from poet Danielle Janess as she reads from her debut poetry collection The Milk of Amnesia; copies will be available.

"Danielle Janess's poetry resists the erasing effects of war, nationalism, and forced migration. Many of the poems in The Milk of Amnesia grow from the soil of Warsaw and Berlin, where the poet-speaker catapults herself and her young child in an effort to locate and unearth their family inheritance.”

Tuesday, March 17 at 7pm
Hosted at Queen Anne Lutheran Church
2400 8th Ave. West
