Jazz on the Grass Street Party
Come join us for our annual party in the street and on the grounds of the church! A Seattle Fire Department Truck will be here from 11 to 11:30 AM. The "Where Ya At, Matt" Food Truck will offer delicious New Orleans-style soul food. Free Jazz music provided by a Roosevelt HS Combo. Games, bubbles, tattoos and crafts for the kids. Donations of clean, new or lightly-used Towels, and packages of Diapers (all sizes) are being collected.

Silent Sip and Read, June 18
We hope you can join us for our June 18 Silent Sip & Read from 7-9 pm, featuring a reading by local author Olivia Waite! Come enjoy a glass of wine (or a non-alcoholic drink of your choice) and peruse a book selection curated by Charlie’s Queer Books while nestling into a quiet space to enjoy your favorite book. Olivia will read at 8pm.

Wednesday Lenten Series: Almost Banned from the Bible
An evening series in collaboration with Ballard First Lutheran, “Almost-Banned from the Bible” will include a light soup-supper (6:00-6:30 pm), speaker/discussion (6:30-7:15 pm), and compline worship to close (7:15-7:30 pm).
The four books we will cover are Esther, the Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes, and Revelation. A final session will look at the book the Texas A&M administration has banned from the syllabus in a philosophy course as an expression of race (or “woke”) ideology: Plato’s Symposium. We are excited to welcome religion and philosophy scholars from Seattle Pacific University and Seattle University. Go Here for full details!
