We hope you can join us for June's Silent Sip & Read, featuring a reading by local author Olivia Waite!* Come enjoy a glass of wine (or a non-alcoholic beverage) and peruse a book selection curated by Charlie's Queer Books, while nestling into a quiet space to enjoy your favorite book.
* Olivia Waite writes queer historical romance, science fiction, and fantasy. She is the romance fiction columnist for the New York Times Book Review.
Nobody's Baby, out this spring, is the second entry of her cozy sci-fi mystery series, helmed by a no-nonsense auntie of a detective, Dorothy Gentleman. Goodreads describes the series as "Becky Chambers meets Miss Marple."

8:30 – 9:00 – Chat and Sip with Fellow Readers (and, if you like, order a copy, or find another new summer read from Charlie's Queer Books.)
This is perfect if you enjoy reading but find that book club isn't your thing.
